I drove up this mountain road for at least a couple hours to get to this point.  An awesome view.  You can faintly make out islands off the coast.  Earlier I had made a wrong turn and gotten on this road which was barely the width of my tiny rental car, on either side of which were dropoffs into rice paddies.  I was sure I was going to tip over and drown!  Finally I made it to a spot where I could turn around and get back on the correct road.

After a few wrong turns and a bit of frustration, I finally made it to Ohki-no-hama.  This beach is two kilometers (almost 1.5 miles) of white sand.  It was kinda overcast but it was still really nice.  I spread out my towel on the sand and took a nap there after taking some pictures.  My next stop would be the southwest cape, Ashizuri Misaki.
